Last updated 17 October 2026

This notice explains what happens to personal data when you use this website. The site is run by NewCo Studio, a small web studio based in Oxfordshire, UK, which is the data controller for quote requests sent through it.

The quote request form

If you send a quote request we receive your name, email address, project type, description, budget range, deadline and any file link you choose to include. We use them only to reply to your request, write your quote and, if you go ahead, deliver the work. Our lawful basis is taking steps at your request before entering a contract (UK GDPR Article 6(1)(b)). We don't add you to a mailing list or share your details with anyone else for marketing.

Form submissions are passed to us by email through FormSubmit, a form-forwarding service, and stored in our email account. Please don't include sensitive information such as passwords or payment details in the form.

How long we keep it

If you don't go ahead, we delete your request within 12 months. If you hire us, we keep project correspondence for as long as needed for the work and for legal and accounting records (normally six years).

The chat helper

The “Questions?” helper is a set of pre-written answers that runs entirely in your browser. It doesn't use AI, doesn't record what you click and sends nothing to us or anyone else.

Cookies and tracking

There are no analytics, no advertising and no cookies. Fonts and images are served from this site, not from third parties.

Hosting logs

The hosting provider (GitHub Pages, run by GitHub, Inc.) may process technical data such as your IP address to deliver the page and keep the service secure. See GitHub's privacy statement.

Hiring through Upwork

If you contact or hire us on Upwork, Upwork's own privacy policy also applies.

Your rights

You can ask what personal data we hold about you and ask us to correct or delete it, by replying to any email from us. You can also complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk.
